Katie is a small 3 yr old bitch.  She is very loving and sweet natured and likes nothing better than to boss around the boys

Jack is a vey sweet natured 5yr old boy who just wants to be with you all the time

Mary is a lovely quiet 5yr old bitch who came into rescue with her brother Dougal.  She is a really nice girl who would make a lovely first time greyhound

Dougal is a gorgeous big teddy bear of a boy.  He is 5yrs old and like his sister Mary would make a lovely easy first time greyhound

Amy is a lovely little girl who got bored with the race track and
decided to retire at the tender age of 3.  A friendly little girl who
gets on with everybody

William is a lovely 2 yr old boy who has decided racing is not for
him.  He would love a home and fireside of his own.  Gets on with
other dogs but is not cat friendly.

Phil is 18 months old, 28” tall in good health, fully vaccinated and tagged. He is calm, with a gentle temperament loves children and is affectionate. He loves to run and play with toys, he is friendly to other dogs and needs company as he prefers not to be left for long periods of time though a full Kong does help. Phil is good in the car once he settles and walks well on the lead. He doesn’t mind loud noises and doesn’t bark too much. He enjoys cuddles and snuggling into a comfy bed!

Murphy is a lovely young lurcher boy of about 18 months to 2 years. He was left behind by travellers and is quite wary and nervous of new situations. He is housetrained and good with small dogs

Bliss is a wonderful happy 5 year old girl with one of the nicest
personalities we have seen at Greenfields.  She is such a happy jolly
girl with a fun sense of humour

Malcolm is a stunning 2 1/2 year old lurcher who is currently in a foster home with other dogs and a cat.  Malcolm had a very unstable start to his life and this left him with separation anxiety.   Since being in an experienced foster home he has come on in leaps and bounds and is now a very well trained biddable boy.  Malcolm leads a very
busy and full life which includes agility and lots of long walks and exercise, this keep him a happy boy and he would need something similar in a permanent home.

Herbie is a lovely sweet young man who is so desperate to please and
get on with everybody. He is 5 years old.

Harold has been returned to Greenfields through no fault of his own. He is a really lovely 8 yr old saluki crossd who is extremely affectionate and playful. Harold is housetrained

Recently rehomed and no longer available:

Sally REHOMED is a wonderful character who has retired from her career as brood bitch and is looking for the comfy sofa and warm fireside that she so deserves. A sprightly 8 year old with a real sense of fun she will bring much love and joy to any family.

Marcus REHOMED is a lovely 7 year old boy who has been returned to Greenfields because his owners have moved abroad. He has lived with children, can be left for reasonable periods and is housetrained. Marcus gets on well with other dogs but is not cat friendly

Celia  REHOMED came in with Amy and is another lovely natured 3 year old who
loves cuddles.  She has the prettiest white socks and matching tail.

Frostie REHOMED is a big, handsome, sweet-natured boy. He is 5yrs old and just retired. Very placid &and affectionate.  He is good with all types of other dogs and children

Holly REHOMED is still waiting for her forever home after being in a foster home for 9months. She is very affectionate, good with children & will make a lovely pet.  She needs an experienced sighthound owner and would be better in a home as an only dog or with males rather than females.

Teddy REHOMED is a lovely natured 4 year old boy who has just retired from racing. He is very loving and likes nothing better than a long cuddle. Gets on well with the other dogs and just likes everybody and everything.

BEATTIE REHOMED is 6yrs old and has sadly come back into our care after being in a loving home for 3yrs due to her owner's ill health. Beattie was a much-loved princess and kept in immaculate condition and is now grieving over the loss of her home. Can you light up her life? She is not good with cats or small dogs.

Boysie REHOMED is a gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous 4 year old boy who just wants
someone to love him.  Doesn't he look lovely.

Ethan REHOMED is 5 years old and a real sweetie. He just adores attention from people and will do anything for a kiss and a cuddle.

Prudence REHOMED is a very finely built  3 year old girl who has lots of love  to give and would love a home of her own.  At sometime she has lost  the end of her tail but still has quite a sizeable length left which she constantly swishes from side to side in a very determined manner.

Mouse REHOMED is only 18 months old and very nervous. She is looking for a home with another dog and someone around for most of the day. Mouse loves giving kisses when she overcomes her shyness

Rebecca REHOMED is a real girlie greyhound full of love and fun. This cheeky madam will make someone a lovely companion. Rebecca is just 3 years old

Duke REHOMED is a lovely real gentleman with impeccable manners. He gets on with all the other dogs and is a real delight to have on the yard always sliding up for a kiss and cuddle.

Jacob REHOMED is a stunning three year old boy with a lovely personality who
is really looking forward to retirement

Freddie REHOMED is very much a people dog and is desperate to have as many
cuddles as he can. He is a very happy boy and is 3 years old

Angelica Rugrat REHOMED is a lovely 61/2 year old girl who is housetrained and used to family life. She has been returned to the rescue after an incident with a neighbourhood cat

Ratty REHOMED is a strange weird little 3 year old boy who has never raced.
He is overshot which gives him the look of a little rat. For one so
young he is a very quite boy. Ratty has lived in a home but had been
returned because of family illness

Through no fault of his own, Prince is looking for a new home for the second time. We re-homed him 2yrs ago but he has been returned to us after the break up of his family. He is 5yrs old and was a top grade racer until he broke his leg. He came to us from his owner after his vet treatment was completed and has no problems with the leg now. He is a big, loving boy with a tendency to be boisterous when it comes to showing his affection and so is more suited to a family with older children. He lived with 3 children in his previous home. He is not cat safe and although he is used to walking out to the shops, etc, meeting people and seeing other dogs he needs to be muzzled when he goes out as he can take a dislike to other breeds/small dogs.
Rose REHOMED is our senior lady,8yrs old. She is very sweet natured and good with small dogs.

Merl REHOMED is a 20 month old lurcher who is a really adorable little boy.
He is cat and small dog friendly, very easy to train and is fine with
children. This stunning looking boy really deserves his own home.

Gem REHOMED is now living with one of our fosters and this is what they say about her.

We are currently fostering this very special little girl. Gem is 5 years old and is finding it difficult to be rehomed. We cannot imagine what trauma she has been through in her racing life. She has a large indent in her forehead which we believe was caused by a shovel and is covered in scars. She is terrified of loud noises and shouting and very scared of strangers . She will hide in her safe place under our bed or in my wardrobe if any loud noises on the television scare her or any male visitors call. She is in desperate need of a special caring gentle person to give her the love she so rightly needs. We have worked hard with Gem over the last few months to gain her trust and she is rapidly beginning to love life and being with us. She is house trained apart from the odd accident when she gets scared and is very very loving. She now is beginning to understand words and will come when you call her name. She is fantastic with all other dogs and is very playful.

Gem will need a home with another dog as a companion as she needs this security and someone will be around most of the all time. she is at her happiest when lying on the settee with you having her belly rubbed and has so much to offer to the right person .
