February 2012 We would just like to say a very big thank
you to everyone who brought food and goodies
for the rescue dogs at Christmas and also
for your kind donations and ongoing support.
We really couldn't do it without you.

2012 We would also like to say a very special thank you to our lovely team of
Shropshire volunteers who are out in all weathers and some very strange places
to raise money to save our lovely hounds.

Thank you once again to Janet Smith and her family of Congleton.
Every year they decorate their house for Christmas and collect donations
for local charities.
Greenfields is lucky enough to receive £87.50 from Janet!

Many thanks once
again to everyone who helped us at our Summer Coffee Morning in Rhos on
Sea on Saturday 20th August:- Deborah and Sandy from the Penrhyn Bay
Townswomens Guild, Marion, Sandra, Kath, Michael, Olwen, Jackie,
Barry and of course Sue with her fabulous cakes - without whose help we
could not run such events. Also thank you to everyone who attended,
we made £286.05. May
2011 A very big thank you goes to one of
our supporters Sue Lawler from Llandudno. Sue wanted to raise some funds
for Greenfields in memory of her own greyhound Tasha who sadly died in
January aged 12. The funds are still coming in but up to date Sue has
raised £200.00 pounds. February
2011 A massive thanks to John and Jo Hayes
from Mulberry Construction and Landscapes who dedicated their time yesterday
to build a base for our new kennel. We would also like to thank Markivitz
Builders Merchants in Leek who donated all the sand and cement and Jim
Wise Reclamation who gave us free concrete slabs. Well done everybody we are very grateful! January
2011 A very very big thank you to Joanne
Hayes who has just had a very special birthday party and managed to raise
£435.72 especially for our epileptic boy Harold to pay for his treatment
for a year. We have now been able to open a special account at our vets
and deposit these funds for Harold's treatment. Harold say a very big thank you December
2010 We would like to say a very big thank
you to the following people who were so kind in giving donations this

2010 *Update - the Smith family raised
£160, this they are splitting between Pat Roberts, cat rescue in
Congleton, and Greenfields. * Janet and Keith Smith decorate the
outside of their home each year to raise money for charity. This year they are giving a donation

you to Just for Pets in Wellington and Ketley who do so much to support

2009 A VERY BIG THANKYOU to Danesford Dog
Training Club who were very welcoming when we went to give a talk on rescued
Greyhounds. Harold and Edna were very well behaved and really enjoyed
all the fuss and attention they received. We were astonished (and very
grateful to receive a cheque for £500.00 which was so very kind
of them and really makes a big difference to a small rescue like ours.

who once again has come to our rescue and made lots of lovely warm duvets
for our dogs. Thank you so much Pat from all the dogs. February 2009 Sue Jeffreys from Wrexham, for her
kindness and support January 2009 Big licky thanks to Princess Emily
of Weston Coyney who having left the world of rescue kennels far behind
her and now ruling her own kingdom in extreme comfort, very kindly donated
£60.00 this Christmas. September 2008 We would like to say a big
thankyou to Janet Wincott and Anne Evans for their support holding coffee
mornings, and Just For Pets Telford, and m + L Petworld for all their
kindness Thank you to Lesley Cooke from

you to: Stanton House Inn, Chirk We would like to extend
a big thank you to Janet Wincott for holding a coffee morning in Montgomery
for us which was very enjoyable.
A big thank you also to Lynn and Dave
for their on going support and collecting dog food to help these hounds Mr and Mrs Cook and friends
for the collection during Christine's birthday trip to Concorde which
raised �237.00. Thank you both for thinking of us. Ann and Adrian Brown for the giant
(and I men giant) whiskey bottle full of money. We will let you know how
much it is when we finish counting it We would like to offer our condolences
to the family and friends of Alan Wilkes who made donations to Greenfields
in his memory. Thank you. Thank you to Jean, who
sent us a lovely card wishing us well with the show, together with a kind
donation and something for our stall. Thank you to Pat
Powell of Stoke on Trent for all the lovely dog beds she make for the
rescue dogs. The dogs really love them and they keep them warm and cosy. Thank you to Tony and Denise
for collecting food at their local pet store in Gwersalt, Wrexham - they
kindly have a collection bin for Greenfields in the store Thank you to everyone
who came to the Belmont Hall in Wellington, Shropshire. It was
a successful event and, as well as receiving lots of donations of food,
collars etc for the rescue, we were also able to raise awareness of the
plight of greyhounds. Thank you to Welshpool
Council for allowing us to use the Town Hall for our coffee morning
and for the money they raised for Greenfields, A thank you to Gail
and staff at the Guild Hall in Oswestry for our get together.
Despite 5 inches of snow we still had a lovely time with the greyhounds! Mark from the Stanton,
Chirk, very kindly held a quiz at his pub and donated lots of lovely
raffle prizes. The money raised on the night was donated to Greenfields.
Thank you very much to Mark and all his customers and merry christmas
to you all! Thanks goes out to Vicky and Trevor
from Cadole, North Wales, who held a coffee afternoon for us, selling
lots of yummey cakes and a beautiful raffle, Very festive and warmest
wishes to all who attended, In memory of a lady who devoted her
life to her own rescue dogs. Her family have kindly sent a donation
in her memory to help the greyhounds. God bless Toni Bernard,
your kindness goes on. Big
thanks to Vanessa Atkinson who very bravely had a sponsored hair
cut and had all her flowing long red hair cut off to raise money for the
dogs. What a kind supporter with devotion to the hounds, thanks
once again! (I bet Dingo didn't know you). 22 November 2006 We would like to say a big thank you
to the friends and neighbours of Diane Robinson and her dog Patrick who
live in Lostock Green, Cheshire. So many people made a donation
to us after meeting the lovely Patrick while he was out walking with Diane. Zilpah
Hoffman donated her Christmas present money to us and Mr and Mrs G Naylor
of Warrington gave a donation. Thank you all it was very much appreciated. September 2006 We would
like to give a huge thank you to Alma and Jim Boyers of Lach Dennis
who had a party for their Golden Wedding. Instead of bringing
presents they asked their friends to make donations to various animal
charities, of which we were one. They very kindly sent a cheque for
